My name is Dr. Naomi (Rabun) Robertson.
I grew up in Georgia and had a brother with a severe disability. I didn’t realize until later how much having a brother with a disability affected our entire family. I learned from this intimate experience that we all have unique challenges, we each have different ways of dealing with these challenges and we all need support.
Because of my background and experience, I decided to pursue a clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and work directly with families and individuals. I also started a nonprofit called Two Thumbs Up where I offered social groups and connected individuals with autism to those without autism. We offered many events and saw beautiful connections unfold. I learned from the hundreds of families that I served what is important to them, what struggles they face and what strategies to implement to help bring a sense of joy and normalcy back into their lives.
During this time, I experienced a severe injury to my low back that inhibited me from being independent in my life. I couldn't even sit upright in a chair because the pain was so excruciating. I also had trouble walking and completing basic tasks. I became very depressed because not only was my sense of independence waning, no one seemed to be able to help me. I went to every type of doctor, healer, and therapist that was recommended but nothing created lasting change.
This all shifted when I experienced Myofascial Release for the first time. My body was never manipulated or forced. When prolonged pressure was held in different positions and I trusted the therapist working with me, I could feel the tissues begin to release and I felt changes happening within my whole system. After just one treatment, I couldn't believe how much better I felt. Myofasical is different because it requires a skilled therapist and a client that is ready and open for the deep changes that will occur. These shifts will happen on all levels, not just physically.

I look forward to providing support for you on your healing journey, too!

Testimonials From Former Clients:
I was experiencing worsening right side rib pain 3 weeks before my wedding. I tried different pain medications without relief, if anything it was getting worse and so intense I didn’t think I would be able to dance at my own wedding. Just 2 sessions of myofascial release therapy eased my symptoms and allowed me to dance and enjoy my wedding day.

Gentle hands and very soothing aura are just a few of the gifts that Naomi has. Her blending of the metaphysical and spiritual with myofascial release gave me a memorable experience that brought me back under her warm and loving hands time and time again. I’m very much grateful!

I had the pleasure to work with Naomi and she was fantastic. She is a natural healer and her compassion for people coupled with the love of doing what she does translate into her treatments. I felt really good, safe, and secure during her sessions and I am sure you will find her healing touch very soothing and comforting as well. She is also very intuitive to your needs which is a great quality to have when you do body work. I highly recommend Naomi.
